Graduated in Chemistry from the University of Brasília (1995), Master degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1998); doctorate in Physics and Chemistry of Aeronautical Materials by the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (2002) and four post-doctorates in Aerospace Engineering by the Institute of Aeronautics and Space at CTA with an emphasis on thermal analysis and rheology. She was a collaborative researcher in the Materials Division of the General Command of Aerospace Technology. Currently, she is a Permanent Professor at the Graduate School of UNESP Guaratinguetá and a Researcher at Forza Composites (pro bono) in São José dos Campos. She is the vice-coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Composites at UNESP in Guaratinguetá. She has experience in Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis on Physical Chemistry of Materials, acting mainly on the following topics: polymers, structural polymeric composites, carbon nanotubes, graphene, buckypapers, nanostructured composites, thermal analysis, rheology, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, benzoxazine, adhesives, thermoplastics, physico-chemical and mechanical properties, autoclave processing and hot pressing, welding, 3D additive manufaturing and environmental conditioning.
