Has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from São Carlos Federal University (UFSCAR) (1987) and master´s (1998) and doctor's (2001) degrees in Analytical Chemistry from São Paulo University (USP). She also has a Post-doctoral degree from the Mechanical Engineering Department at USP and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University (USA). She is currently an adviser and collaborative professor on the post-graduation program of the Mechanical Engineering Department at USP in characterization of biomass for bioenergy. Coordenates research project of the BIOEN-FAPESP . She was collaborative professor at the Chemistry Institute of Júlio de Mesquita Filho State Unviersity UNESP at the Analytical Department between 2011 and 2013. She has experience in the areas of Analytical Chemistry, Thermal Analysis and Technological Chemistry. Her studies have focused on desulfurization processes for application in fluidized bed for energy production and minimization of atmospheric effluents, oxy-combustion and renewable fuels (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
