M.Sc. in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1995), Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1998) and post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Wales (1998 - 2000), Embrapa/CNPDIA (2000 - 2002) and University of Texas at Dallas (2018-2019). Experience in Physics and Materials Science, with emphasis on ultrafine films (Langmior-Blodgett and self-assembled by physical adsorption), acting mainly in sensors of the "electronic language" type, microfluidic, and more recently with multifunctional coatings formed by self-healing and conductive nanocomposites.
