Worked from 1998 to 2002 in the Education Coordination of the Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences / MAST / MCTCI performing research and education activities. Member of the International Council of Museum / ICOM participaiting at the Committee of Museums of Science and Technology / CIMUSET and the Committee of Education and Cultutal Action/ CECA. Vice-coordinator of FEUSP's Museum of Education and Toy. Was president, vice-president (from 2002 to 2006) and treasurer (from 2009 to 2011) of the Brazilian Association of Teaching of Biology / SbenBio. Was vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Research in Education in Science (2005 to 2011). Works in teaching, research and extension in the areas of Science Teaching and Museum Education. She is a lecturer at the Postgraduate Program at the School of Education of USP and at the Interunit Program in Science Education at USP. Collaborates in the Specialization Course in Dissemination of Science, Technology and Health of Fiocruz. Research projects, publications and supervision of scientific initiation, masters and PHDs with subjects such as science teaching, biology teaching, scientific communication and museum education.
