She is graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of São Paulo in 1995 and held a master's degree in the area of Comparative and Experimental Pathology, University of São Paulo (1999), Doctorate in Science at the University of São Paulo (2002) and Livre-docente at the University of São Paulo (2014). She is currently Associated Professor in the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health (Capes 6) of FMVZ - University of São Paulo. Her research line is focused on molecular epidemiology and diagnosis of infectious diseases in domestic animals, with greater emphasis on swine heath. She works mainly in the following areas: bacteriology, molecular biology, molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
