Professor of aquaculture. Bachelor and PhD in Biological Oceanography (University of São Paulo, USP, biggest in Brazil) with studies in Brazil, Spain, Mexico and Germany. Professor of Aquaculture at USP since 2001, carrying on research on feeding, nutrition and mariculture towards applied research, entrepreneurship, innovation and faculty development. Leader for aquaculture development in USP (http://www.iea.usp.br/eventos/aquicultura-desafios-e-oportunidades-na-revolucao-azul-brasileira, projects in SPEC and NPOP FAPESP research programs), member of the specialist panel Use of Resouces at FAO Global Conference on Aquaculture (2010). Member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Applied Aquaculture (Taylor & Francis) and Reviews in Aquaculture (Wiley). Professional and academic work in more than fifteen countries including Chile, Equador, Mexico, United States, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, China and Australia.
