Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from UNESP/Jaboticabal, with a Master's degree in Veterinary Pathology and a PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology from the University of São Paulo (USP), BR Ferreira has been a professor at the Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing (EERP-USP) since 2006, where she leads the Genomics and Immunobiology Laboratory (LGBio). Accredited as an advisor in the graduate programs in Immunology (FMRP-USP) and Public Health Nursing (EERP-USP), her work integrates research, education, and innovation.Her research line integrates immunology, parasitology, and genomics, focusing on the development of multicomponent vaccines against ticks and the discovery of new anti-inflammatory drugs, utilizing transcriptomic and bioinformatics approaches.In the field of science education, he coordinates the Young Immunologist Project, which brings uncomplicated teaching of immunology to public high schools.Contact: brferrei@usp.br (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
