Bachelor (1984) and Degree (2002) in Chemistry, Master in Chemistry / Sciences (1988) and Doctorate in Chemical Engineering (1996) from UNICAMP. Post Doctorate from the University of Brighton (2015). He served as Project Coordinator, Section and Division Manager at Telebrás Research and Development Center (1986-2001). Full Professor at the São Francisco University (1996-2008) and Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He was Coordinator of the Bachelor of Science and Technology (2009), Deputy Dean of Undergraduate (2009-2010) and Dean of Undergraduate (2011-2014) at UFABC. He was President of the College of Pro-Rectors of Brazil (Coordinated several research projects (sponsored by CPqD-Telebrás, CNPq, FAPESP, CAPES and several companies) and was responsible for transferring some technology developed to National Companies. Polymers: Science and Technology, Matter, Materials Research, Nature, Polymer Physics, Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Polymer (Guildford), European Polymer Journal, Carbohydrate Polymers, Polymer Testing, Industrial Crops and Products, Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Composites Science and Technology, Journal of Molecular Liquids, Journal of Cleaner Production, Ad-Hoc Advisor of FAPESP, CNPq, FINEP, and some Brazilian Universities. Editorial boards of international journals.Advisor (various mandates) and Director of ABPol (2017-2019). He is the assistant coordinator of Engineering II at CAPES. Plenary sessions / Keynotes / Round table as a guest. He has supervised dozens of undergraduate / undergraduate / dissertation / thesis and other assignments.
