Is currently a Full professor at UNICAMP, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Graduated in Biologia from Universitat Kiel (Christian-Albrechts) (1992), master's in Biology from Universitat Kiel (Christian-Albrechts) (1992) and Ph.D. in Biology from Universitat Kiel (Christian-Albrechts) (1995), Was a researcher and group leader between 1998-2014 at the CNPEM/LNBio - Campinas (former Brazilian Synchrotron laboratory), Habilitated (Privatdozent, livre docente) in 2013 at Universidade São Paulo. Has experience in Biochemistry, focusing on Molecular Biology, acting on the following subjects: cancer, onco-proteins, signaling, protein-protein interactions and cancer signaling. Published 101 papers. Tutored 26 PhD and 6 master students. Co-supervised 4 PhD and supervised 16 post-docs and 23 undergraduate students in the past. In the moment tutors 4 PhD students, 1 masterstudent, and 2 undergraduate student . Currently is a full professor at the school of Pharmacy UNICAMP, Brasil. Studies: signaling, Nek cinases, onco-proteins, cancer, tranformation, DDR response, DNA repair, mitochondrial metabolism and morphology. Google academic: H-factor: 34, 3557 citations (15.9.2023).
