Birthplace: Brazil

CNPq Research Productivity Scholar - Level PQ2. Undergraduate in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP) (1994), a Master's degree (1998) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Basic and Applied Immunology at School of Pharmaceutical Science at USP (FMRP-USP). Postdoctoral at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (2003-2005). Researcher fellow (PRODOC-CAPES) at Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology of FMRP-USP (2006-2007). Postdoctoral at the University of Michigan (2007-2009), Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. She is currently an assistant professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara-UNESP. The main focus of her research is in cellular immunology in the following research areas: the immunomodulatory role of prostanoids in the differentiation of CD4 + T cells during the process of phagocytosis of apoptotic cells and modulation of the immune response by lipid mediators in infections and cancer.
