Undergraduated in Biomedicine (Clinical Laboratory and Bacteriology) by Universidad del Valle (Colômbia - 1994). Master in Immunology and Applied Sciences to Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil- 2003). PhD in Micro-Immuno-Parasitology from the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil- 2008) and post-doctorate in Immunology by the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil 2011). She is currently full professor of the Graduate Program in Environmental and Experimental Pathology, responsible for the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology of the Institute of Health Sciences of Paulista University and associate researcher in the Immunology discipline of the Federal University of São Paulo. She has experiences in cell and molecular biology, immunology, transplantation and microbiology areas. She acts mainly on the following topics: melanoma, mammary adenocarcinoma, tumor microenvironment, metastases, intracellular signaling, cell and tumor immunology, gene expression, B-1 cells and NKT cells.
