Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of São Paulo ( 1995) , master's degree in Animal Science and Pastures the University of São Paulo ( 1998) and a PhD in Animal Science from Michigan State University ( 2002). He is currently Associate Professor, Department of Animal Production and Nutrition , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo. Ad hoc advisor to the Foundation for Research of the State of São Paulo, Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science , Journal of Dairy Science , Genetics and Molecular Biology , Journal of Animal Science and the National Technical Biosafety Commission .
