Bachelor in Ecology from UNESP - Campus de Rio Claro (1993), Master Science in Environmental Engineering Sciences - USP - São Carlos (1997), Doctor in Environmental Engineering Sciences - USP - São Carlos (1999), Post-Doctorate in Ecology Applied - USP - Piracicaba (2001-2004). I developed research internships in Environmental Sciences at NSERL - West Lafayette - USA (January to March 2010 and June to August 2014), at Écologie Fonctionnelle & Biogéogéochimie des Sols & des Agro-Écosystèmes - IRD - Montpellier - France (June to August from 2012 and June to August 2016), and at the Department of Geography at the Universidad de Valencia - Spain (January to March 2019). I am Associate Professor (MS-5.3) at the Institute of Science and Technology of Sorocaba-UNESP (ICTS-UNESP) from December 2012 up to now. I have interests in developing technologies aimed at solving environmental problems, with an emphasis on Recovery of Degraded Areas, Nature-Based Solutions, Biophilic Designs, Soil and Water Conservation Management, Applied Ecology, and Geoprocessing (GIS). I have continuous interest in integrating the SDGs into research, teaching and extension projects. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
