Graduated in Biology from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1994). Master's degree (1997) and Doctor (2002) in Zoology (Biological Sciences Course) by the UNESP, Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho / Campus de Botucatu. Post-Doctorate by the Museum of Zoology of USP / SP. She is currently Associate Professor at the UNESP, Campus de Registro, where she teaches courses in Agronomy and Fisheries Engineering (Agricultural Zoology, Aquaculture, Aquaculture and Malacology and Carcinology). She acts as a scientific reviewer of journals, evaluator of the PIBIC / PIBIT Institutional Program of UNESP / Prope. She has been a member of the Standing Research Commission since 2007, and is currently the vice chair of this committee. Experience in the field of Zoology, with emphasis in Carcinology, working mainly in the following subjects: Biology, Ecology, Dynamics of populations of crustacean decapods, mainly freshwater prawns.
