Roselena Faez is a full professor at UFSCar- Araras and leader of the Research Group on Polymeric and Biosorbent Materials at CNPq (MPB). She is Chemist (1993, IQ-UNESP Araraquara) and PhD in Sciences (1999, IQ-UNICAMP) with a sandwich doctorate at the German Institute of Rubber (DIK) in Hannover and post-doctorate at the Materials Division of the Technological Center of Aeronautics ( 2001). She did a sabbatical at the University of California-Davis (UCDavis) (2016-2017). She has experience in the field of polymeric materials, working in the synthesis, processing and characterization of polymers for application in agriculture and the environment, working with an emphasis on sustainability, thinking about optimizing the process of obtaining materials and focusing on SDGs (2, 5, 9, 12, 13 ). She advises the permanent staff of the PPGs Agriculture and Environment at UFSCar-Araras and Materials Engineering and Science at USP-Pirassununga. She was director of the Materials Division of the Brazilian Chemical Society (2014-2016). She is a member of the Board of Directors of ABPol (2021-205). She is part of the SBQ Women's Nucleus (2022-2024). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
