Associate Professor - MS-5 at EACH - University of São Paulo. Holds a BA in Physics with specialization in Astronomy, University of São Paulo (2000). Completed his Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of São Paulo in 2005. Postdoctoral fellow the University of Wisconsin - USA (2007 and 2008) and Univ. of St-Andrews - UK (2013 - 2015). Was Adjunct Professor at UNICSUL, from 2006 to 2010, where participated in the creation of the Graduate Program in Astronomy. Coordinator of the lato-sensu program Astronomy for Teachers, linked to the INCT-Astrophysics, from 2010 - 2013. Works in main fields of Astronomy, with emphasis on Plasma Physics with applications in Stellar Astrophysics, Galactic and extragalactic astrophysics . Member of the Brazilian Astronomical Society, Brazilian Society for Science Progress, and the International Astronomical Union (IAU). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
