Prof. Dr. Fábio de Lima Leite é Escritor, Cientista e Professor pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), desde 2009. Possui graduação em Física (Bacharelado e Licenciatura) pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000), Mestrado (2002) e Doutorado (2006) em Ciência e Engenharia de Materiais pela Universidade de São Paulo (2006). Especializou-se em Nanobiotecnologia durante o seu pós-doutorado (2006 à 2009) em parceria com o Prof. Dr. Alan Graham MacDiarmid da University of Pennsylvania (USA), laureado com o Prêmio Nobel em Química (2000). Em 2015, criou a área de conhecimento intitulada Nanoneurobiophysics (Nanomedicine, Vol. 10, No. 23, Pages 3417-3419) e publicou o livro Nanoestruturas - Princípios e Aplicações (Elsevier, 2015), concorrendo a final do Prêmio Jabuti 2015, o maior e mais importante prêmio da literatura brasileira. É editor da série NANO publicado em 2017 pela Elsevier (Nanostructures, Nanocharacterization Techniques Nanoscience and its Applications). Tem experiência nas áreas de nanociência e nanotecnologia, com ênfase em nanoneurociência e nanobiofísica médica. É especialista em Psicanálise Educacional e estrategista em Comportamento Humano, sendo pioneiro no desenvolvimento e formação de jovens cientistas do ensino básico. Desde 2011, vem realizando a Escola Preparatória para Futuros Cientistas e o Encontro Nacional para Futuros Cientistas; eventos destinados a jovens talentos do ensino básico e superior (graduação e pós-graduação). Atualmente é Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Nanoneurobiofísica (GNN) (www.nanoneurobiophysics.net) e Coordenador do Laboratório Multidisciplinar de Nanoneurobiofísica (LMN). é Diretor-Presidente do Programa Futuro Cientista, projeto pioneiro e inovador, único no mundo destinado a formar futuros cientistas, entre jovens e adolescentes de escolas públicas e unidades de acolhimento (orfanatos). É credenciado em 2 Programas de Pós-Graduação: Biotecnologia e Monitoramento Ambiental (PPGBMA-UFSCar) e Medicina Tropical da Universidade de São Paulo (IMT-USP). Foi coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Biotecnologia e Monitoramento Ambiental (CAPES, Nível 4) (2012-2013). Publicou cerca de 12 livros, 60 artigos em periódicos especializados, 16 capítulos de livros, 1 marca registrada no Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI) e orientou mais de 20 alunos de iniciação científica, 7 mestres, 2 doutores e 3 pós-doutores. É autor de livros que tratam de Ciência, Nanociência Nanotecnologia (Elsevier, 2015) e da Literatura Poética, além de criar e desenvolver o jogo de estratégia científica intitulado Dominius. É revisor para diversos periódicos e parecerista dos principais órgãos de pesquisa acadêmica: Fapesp, CAPES e CNPq.
