He worked professionally in structural mechanical projects and industrial installations. He has experience in Mechanical and Materials Engineering, with emphasis on Mechanical and Microstructural Characterization of Materials, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, working mainly on the following topics: high strength steels for aeronautical applications; high-strength and low-alloy microalloyed steels (ARBL), API classes, used in the oil and gas sector; surface treatments (shot peening, metallic coatings, HVOF thermal spray process); welding processes; analysis of residual stresses and fracture toughness.
