Current position: Full Professor at Structural Engineering Department at São Carlos School of Engineering of São Paulo University. Research field: FEM, BEM, geometrical and physical non linearity and dynamics. Interests: Crash, foldable structures, large deformed materials, biomechanics, structural stability, multiscale models, sliding connections applied to civil structures and mechanisms.
