Full Professor in Clinical Psychopathology at the Université de Provence / Aix-Marseille I / France (2009). Associate Professor in Psychopathology at UNICAMP (2008). Habilitation pour Diriger des Recherches (H.D.R.) at the Université de Provence France (2008). He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychiatry at the Medical School/UNICAMP, where is head of the Laboratory of Psychopathology: Subject and Singularity (LaPSuS-UNICAMP). Doctor by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983). Medical Residency in Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP (1984-86). Master's Degree in Mental Health from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 1989). PhD in Fundamental Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis at the Université de Paris VII - Denis Diderot (1995), under the supervision of Prof. Pierre Fédida.. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Psychoanalysis at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He is editor of the "Epistemology of Psychopathology" section of the Revista Latino-americana de Psicopatologia Fundamental (Latin American Journal of Fundamental Psychopathology). Board member of the Section Psychoanalysis in Psychiatry of the World Psychiatry Association (WPA). Director of the Núcleo São Paulo of the Corpo Freudiano School of Psychoanalysis.
