Full Professor and former Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at ICMC-USP, São Carlos. Factor h = 13. More than 40 articles in journals and over 260 cites by other authors, some in important books (Gallavotti, Rivasseau, Froehlich,..., Princeton, Springer, ...) Research Fellow of CNPq since 1993 and consultant for the CNPq International Area since 2011 (CsF). BS in Physics, University of São Paulo (1980), Master in Theoretical Physics, Institute for Theoretical Physics, SP (1984, currently UNESP) and Doctorat ès Sciences Physiques, Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France and Université Paris XI, Orsay (1991). Visiting Scholar in the Mathematics and Physics (lyman Lab) Departments, Harvard University USA, from 1990 to 1993, after invitation by Profs. Arthur Jaffe and John Imbrie. Accepted as Post-Doc at the Institute of Advanced Studies at Princeton, 1990. Professor at ICMC-USP, São Carlos, since 1993. Has experience in the area of ​​Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics, with emphasis on Mathematical Physics. Works mainly in Rigorous Analytical Results in Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory, Constructive Theory of Fields, Multi-Scale Analysis, Renormalization Group, Spectral Analysis, Generators Spectrum Dynamics. BEST RESULTS: Proof of non-perturbative renormalizability of the perturbatively non-renormalizable Gross-Neveu model with Large Number of Components in 3 Dimensions (breaking a historical paradigm!); Obtained from first principle dynamics part of the particle spectrum for lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD), in the strong coupling regime, including the Eightfold Way (physics Nobel for Gell'Mann and Ne'eman, 1963) and detection of a deuteron like-particle with binding arising from a quark-antiquark exchange (related to the 1957 Yukawa Nobel Prize). With O´Carroll, discovered a new spectral phenomenon in quantum mechanics (bounds states which exist only above an energy threshold!) Has a career with good international interaction, with several papers and seminars on the best scientific meetings in the area. In addition to research in Mathematical Physics, recently devoted also worked on Transnational Education and coordinated the participation of USP (researchers, technicians and graduate students and post) in several European cooperation networks and South American, managing the grant of scholarships study. Was responsible for all academic mobility in the USP for over two years, coordinator 06 Erasmus Mundus consortia, with some 230 of the EEC scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students for the USP. Was a board member of the Center for Applied Mathematics and Statistics for Industry ICMC-USP, and participated in various committees and councils in the Rector´s Office, in the USP Sao Carlos campus and at the ICMC-USP. This research proposal aims at extending our previous rigorous spectral results regarding the existence of baryon-baryon bound states in simplified lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD) models to an Euclidean four lattice QCD with three quark flavor defined with the Wilson action in the strong coupling regime. The goal of this project is to establish rigorous results for the energy-momentum spectrum of lattice quantum chromodynamics models, in the strong coupling regime, validating to the complete model previously obtained results concerning the existence of bound states within a ladder approximation.
