Degree in Food Engineering, Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering - University of São Paulo (2007). MA and PhD in Hydraulic Engineering and Sanitation in the School of Engineering of São Carlos - University of São Paulo (2009 and 2012). She was postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR), with internship research at University of Southern Denmark (SDU). She is currently Associate Coordinator and Researcher of the Interdisciplinary Center of Energy Planning (NIPE) from University of Campinas (Unicamp), permanent professor of the Program of Energy Planning Systems (PSE) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FEM), Unicamp, and professor of the PhD Program in Bioenergy (UNICAMP/UNESP/USP). She has experience on biological treatment of residues, especially related to anaerobic digestion/co-digestion, generation of added value byproducts from the biological process and energy recovery from biogas.
