Magno T. M. Silva received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, all in electrical engineering, from Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, in 1999, 2001, and 2005, respectively. From February 2005 to July 2006, he was an Assistant Professor at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, São Paulo, Brazil. Since August 2006, he has been with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo, where he is currently an Associate Professor. From January to July 2012, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Leganés, Spain. His research interests include linear and nonlinear adaptive filtering.
