Prof. Carlota Rangel Yagui is a full professor at the Department of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Technology of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP). She has a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry (1997) from USP and a PhD. in biochemical and Pharmaceutical Technology from the same institution (2003), with an 18 months period as a visiting student a the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-USA) from July 2001 to December 2002. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Technology-USP from July 2003 to May 2006. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Biochemical-Pharmaceutical Technology. She is also a member of the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Controlled Release Society Brazilian Local Chapter. Prof. Rangel-Yagui coordinates the Laboratory of Nanobiotechnology of the University of São Paulo - Nanobio (https://www.facebook.com/nanobiolabusp/),a research group focused on nanobiotechnology, self-aggregated nanostructure, protein PEGylation and aqueous biphasic systems for protein purification.
