BA in Geology from Instituto de Geociências, University of São Paulo (1989), MA in Archaeology from Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia, University of São Paulo (1995), PH.D. in Arqueology at the Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia, University of São Paulo (2001) and Visiting Graduate Student at Antropology / Archaeology from University of Washington (1998). Has experience in Archaeology, acting on the following subjects: archaeology, Quaternary Studies, geoarchaeology, palaoenvironments. Presently head of LEVOC - Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Studies in Evolution, Culture, and Environment, Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology. Member ot the Historic, Archaeological, Artistic and Touristic Heritage Counsil of São Paulo State - CONDEPHAAT Former Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Exeter, UK.
