Associate Professor 3 from School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of University of São Paulo (EACH-USP). Graduation, MSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering - USP (1988, 1995 and 2000), Law graduation at San Francisco Law School of USP (1993) and associate level thesis in EACH-USP (2011). Previously she worked at the Butantan Institute and Rhodia (Rhône-Poulenc group). She received Honorable Mention of Science and Technology SUS Award in 2005. Experience in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, with emphasis on TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY and BIOTECHNOLOGY, acting on the following topics: textile recycling, native vegetal fibers, polymers, polysaccharides, batch and fed-batch cultivations and kinetics analysis. Currently her main lines of research are the study of Brazilian vegetable fibers for textile applications and the study of textile recycling (products and processes) for the production of yarns, nonwovens, composites and other products that can be inserted in the textile chain.
