Graduated in Dentistry from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Unesp, 1995), with a masters (1999) and PhD (2003) in Restorative Dentistry from the same institution, and a postdoctoral fellowship from Indiana University (2013). Currently a full professor at the Institute of Science and Technology of São José dos Campos (ICT-SJC), Unesp, serving as ad-hoc reviewer for funding agencies and peer reviewer for scientificjournals. Research interests include dental bleaching, dental erosion, optical properties of teeth and restorative materials, and adhesion to dental structures. Engaged in collaborative projects with institutions such as FOUSP, FOB-USP, UFRJ, and the Piracicaba Dental School at UNICAMP, as well as with international partners, including Indiana University (USA), the University of Hannover (Germany), and the University of Bern (Switzerland.)
