Graduate in Biological Sciences at Universidade de São Paulo (1993), Master's in Biological Oceanografy at Universidade de São Paulo (1996) and Ph.D. in Biological Oceanografy at Universidade de São Paulo (2002). CNPq researcher (PQ, level 2) since March 2009. Currently has a position as Assistant Lecturer at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, and as a researcher and PG supervisor by the Instituto de Ciências do Mar da UFC (PG em Tropical Marine Sciences). Works also as collaborator with USP, and as scientific consultant for FUNDESPA, Aplysia, CPEA and Tecnohidro. Associated to many scientific societies (ABES, SETAC, etc) and technical reviewer of many international and national journals. Has experience in Sanitary Engineering, Oceanography and Applied Ecology, focusing on Pollution Control and Environmental Management, mainly on the following subjects: coastal zone, coastal management, ecotoxicology, conservation and pollution.
