Dr. Manzione has a degree in Agricultural Engineering (1999) and a master's degree in Agronomy (2002) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), both at the Faculty of Agricultural Science (FCA), Botucatu Campus, SP-Brazil. In 2007, he completed his doctorate in Remote Sensing at the National Institute for Space Research in São José dos Campos/SP-Brazil, having received a PDEE-CAPES scholarship, and completed a 12-month doctoral internship abroad (sandwich) at the Centrum Bodem of the ALTERRA Institute, University of Wageningen, Netherlands between 2005 and 2006. Since 2008 he has been a full-time professor at UNESP, teaching classes and researching in the areas of geoprocessing, water resources and agrometeorology in the Geography course at the Ourinhos Experimental Campus (CEO) until 2016, between 2017 and 2022 on the Biosystems Engineering course at the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FCE) of Tupã and from the second semester of 2022 on the Geography course at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Education (FCTE) of Ourinhos. He holds a habilitation degree in Hydrogeography and Agrometeorology from UNESP in Ourinhos (2016). He has experience in the area of agricultural engineering, geosciences and water resources with an emphasis on statistical modeling, working mainly on the following topics: hydropedology, hydrogeology, precision agriculture, geostatistics, time series, geoprocessing, geographic information systems and risk and uncertainty mapping. He was head of the Department of Biosystems Engineering (DEB) at UNESP / FCE in the 2020/2022 biennium. He works alongside the academic postgraduate programs in Agricultural Engineering at UNESP / FCA-Botucatu and Geosciences and Environment at UNESP / IGCE-Rio Claro, guiding master's and doctoral students. He also works on professional master's courses in Geography (Water Resources) at UNESP / FCT-Presidente Prudente and in Water Resources Management and Regulation (PROFÁGUA) at UNESP / FEIS-Ilha Solteira. Since 2020 he has been an adjunct fellow at the School of Natural Resources (SNR) at the University of Nebraska (UNL) in Lincoln, USA. He has represented UNESP since 2008 with the Committees for the Hydrographic Basins of the Middle Paranapanema and the Aguapeí and Peixe Rivers in the State segment and is a member of the Technical Chamber for Planning, Assessment and Sanitation (CT-PAS). Since 2022, he has been a member of the Technical Integration Chambers (CTIP) and Groundwater Integration (CTIAS) of the Paranapanema River Hydrographic Basin Committee. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
