Dante Gallian is graduated in History by University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. Master (1992) and PHD (1997) in Social History by USP and Post doctored by École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales de Paris, France (2007). He was Professor in the Federal University of Santa Catarina Department of History and since 1999 to present he is Full Professor and Director in the Center of History and Philosophy of Health Sciences in Paulista Medical School - Federal University of São Paulo. Dante Gallian was visiting Professor at EHESS- Paris, France and in the Center of Humanities and Health do King's College London, UK. He have been doing research about Medical Humanities and Medical Education, with special interest in Medical Narratives and Literature and Humanization in Health, with research projects supported by FAPESP, CNPq, CAPES.
