Graduated in Animal Science from the University of São Paulo, masters in animal nutrition from the University of São Paulo, Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of São Paulo and Post Doctorate in Animal Science from FZEA/USP, Brazil. She is currently a scientific researcher at the Animal Science Institute (IZ) of the São Paulo State Department of Agriculture and Supply (SAA) and accredited professor of the post-graduate course in Sustainable Animal Production at the Animal Science Institute, Brazil. She has experience in the field of Dairy Farming, with an emphasis on nutrition, and welfare, working mainly on the following topics: immunonutrition, metabolism and welfare of young calves, and biofortified milk.
