Physicist from the State University of Maringá (2000), master's degree in Materials Science (Military Engineering Institute, Rio de Janeiro, 2002) and PhD in Materials Engineering (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, 2006). He is currently a professor / researcher at the University of Vale da Paraíba. Experience in the deposition / characterization of thin film semiconductor devices, in the synthesis / characterization of nanoparticles and surface functionalization of nanostructures with proteins, DNA and other molecules; analysis of spectra obtained by Raman and FT-IR Spectroscopies using PCA-LDA, HCA, deconvolution process using spectral derivatives.
