Degree in Biological Sciences, and bachelor's degree in Microbiology at Federal University of Minas Gerais, a master's degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Immunology at Federal University of Minas Gerais. Holds a postdoctoral degree in inflammation at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and in Immunogenetics at Federal University of São Paulo. Is currently the coordinator of the Pós-graduate Program of Professional Master's in Pharmacy at the Anhanguera University of São Paulo (UNIAN) and professor on Master's Program in Teaching Science and Health at UNIAN and Science and Mathematics Teaching Program at Anhanguera University (Uniderp). Member of the ethics committee in research with human beings at UNIAN, having been coordinator from 2017 to 2021. Participates in projects to prospect and use bioactive compounds for application in health. Leader of the Research Group Nucleus for Technological Prospecting for Health (NPTec) and has experience in the field of Immunology, with emphasis on immunosuppressants and autoimmune diseases, working in molecular immunology and epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation in cells of the immune system.
