Graduated in Biology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1999), earned a Master's degree in Sciences (Biology of Host-Pathogen Interaction) (2004), and a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Department of Microbiology (2009) at Universidade de São Paulo. Currently, she is a Scientific Researcher level VI at the Laboratory of Medical Investigation of Hospital das Clinicas da FMUSP (Virology, LIM52) and the Institute of Tropical Medicine, and a Collaborating Researcher at FMUSP. She holds a CNPq Productivity Scholarship level 2. She has experience in Molecular Biology, sequence analysis, and virus Phylogeny. Her interests include the processes of evolution and dispersion of RNA viruses. In particular, she develops projects on arboviruses and endogenous retroviruses. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
