Camila M Romano is graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1999). Obtained her Master in Parasitology (2004) and phD in Microbiology (2009) at Universidade de São Paulo. She is currently a Scientific Researcher VI in the Laboratory of Medical Investigation from Hospital das Clinicas FMUSP (Virology, LIM52) and in the Tropical Medicine Institute. Dr Romano has experience in molecular biology tools, viral sequence analysis and virus phylogenetics. She is interested on the processes of evolution and spread of RNA viruses. She has published more then 65 articles in this field and currently develops projects with arboviruses and endogenous retroviruses. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
