Has experience in Thermal Engineering, acting on the following subjects: experimental studies on hydrodynamics of fluidized beds containing biomass particles, circulating fluidized beds, heat exchangers, combustion and pyrolysis in fluidized beds, pollutant emissions, refrigeration and air conditioning. Vice-coordinator of the Thermal Process and Environmental Engineering Research Group registered by CNPq. Member of Combustion and Environmental Engineering Committee of Brazilian Association of Mechanical Sciences (ABCM) from 2009 to 2013.
