Graduate in Nursing and Midwifery at the Federal University of São Carlos (1987), master in Special Education by the Center for Education and Human Sciences, Federal University of São Carlos (1994) and PhD in Nursing from the University of São Paulo (1999). He conducted postdoctoral studies at the University of Toronto - Canada (2006) where studied quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and health promotion. In 2012 can deepen their knowledge in health promotion and improve international partnerships in research through the senior stage in research conducted by the King's College - London (England). She is currently a lecturer at the University of São Paulo, exercising their activities linked to the Department of Nursing in Public Health . She has theoretical and practical experience in Nursing in Primary Health care, and has directed his research to the study of Community Health Nursing Practice acting in the following areas: public health, nursing work, training of human resources for primary care, evaluation programs and services and the promotion of child health and development. Develops educational activities within the undergraduate and graduate levels in EEUSP. It has experience in outreach projects within the framework of partnerships with local and state health departments, aimed at the qualification of primary health care of the population.
