She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from IBILCE/UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1997), a master's degree in Genetics from IBILCE/UNESP (2000), a PhD in Genetics from IBILCE/UNESP (2005), with a sandwich doctorate from the Imperial College of London (2004). She holds a professorship in Molecular Genetics from FEIS/UNESP (2018). She was an Associate Professor at the Faculdade de Engenharia de Ilha Solteira/UNESP, teaching the disciplines of Genetics and Molecular Biology, from 2009 to 2023. In IBILCE/UNESP, since 2010 as a master's and doctoral advisor, as well as Coordinator since 2023. Member of the Brazilian Society of Genetics, with experience in the area of Molecular Biology and Genetics, with emphasis on Human and Medical Genetics, working mainly on the following topics : head and neck cancer, inflammation, real-time PCR, cell culture, subtractive hybridization, annexin A1 and herbal medicines.
