She is currently a scientific Researcher responsible of Tumor Biobanking and processing lab of University of São Paulo (USP) Academic Biobank of Research on Cancer located at the Center for Translational Research in Oncology (CTO), Instituto do Cancer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP), São Paulo, Brazil. He has experience in the field of Molecular and Cellular Biology, with emphasis on tumors of the Central Nervous System, working mainly on the following topics: tumors, mutations, polymorphisms (sequencing, PCR-SSCP), gene expression (microarray, qRT-PCR), protein expression (Western blotting). He has experience of researches in the area of molecular epidemiology in cancer, with emphasis on gastric cancer and Japanese-Brazilian population (Division of Epidemiology and Cancer Prevention, Cancer Hospital of Nagoya, Aichi, Japan).
