He was graduated at Aerospace Engineering from Kazan Aviation Institute (1972) and Ph.D. at Technical Cybernetics and Theory of Information from Kazan Aviation Institute (1982). Since 2008 he is the Full Professor of Universidade Federal do ABC (Santo André, SP, Brazil). He has experience in Mathematics and Engineering, focusing on Mathematical Modeling applied to the economical, ecological, biological and engineering problems, acting on the following subjects: modeling and control of nonlinear systems, mathematical modeling and optimal control of the population systems, mathematical modeling and control of the chaotic systems, biological control and optimal pest control.
