She has experience in Physical Oceanography with focus on air-sea interaction, specifically the oceanic heat flux, mode water formation, and meridional overturning circulation (MOC). Her interests include the following subjects: satellite oceanography, intraseasonal to interannual variability, climate changes, oceanic meridional heat fluxes, mode water formation in the South Atlantic, and the role of salinity in the oceanic circulation, hydrological cycle and climate changes.
