Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Alfenas (2006); Master (2009) and PhD (2014) in Ecology and Natural Resources from the Federal University of São Carlos, with a sandwich doctorate period (1 year) at Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada, 2012-2013). She was a postdoc at WasserCluster Lunz (Austria, 2017-2019); at the University of São Paulo, São Carlos campus (USP/EESC, 2016-2017; 2019-2022) and at the Université du Havre (France, 2022-2023). She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Univeristat Rovira i Virgili, in Tarragona (Spain). She has experience in Ecology, with an emphasis on Aquatic Ecology, with different projects in freshwater (Brazil; Spain), marine (Canada) and estuary (France) environments. The main interest of the projects is the ecotoxicological assessment in terms of physiological, biochemical or behavioral alteration of different organisms (algae, cladocerans, freshwater and estuarine copepods, fish) exposed to contaminants (metals, pesticides, microplastics, bisphenols), alone or in mixture.
