Renato Sztutman is a professor of the Department of Anthropology, University of São Paulo (USP). He has done his Master Thesis (2000) and PhD Thesis (2005) at the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social, at the same university. He has done his post-doc at the Department of Philosophy, University of Paris Ouest Nanterre. He is currently directing the Centro de Estudos Ameríndios (CEstA-USP). He is currently publisher of Revista de Antropologia (Department of Anthropology, USP). He was one of the creators and editors, between 1997 and 2007, of the independent journal Sexta-Feira. The book O profeta e o principal: a ação política ameríndia e seus personagens (Edusp/Fapesp, 2012) and the collection of interviews Eduardo Viveiros de Castro: entrevistas (Azougue, 2018) are among his most important publications. His main themes of research are: indigenous cosmopolitics, frontiers between Anthropology and Philosophy, Anthropology and Cinema studies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
