The researcher holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1986). She completed a master's degree in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Improvement) at the University of São Paulo (1991) and a Ph.D. in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Improvement) at the University of São Paulo (1997). She was a researcher at Embrapa and is currently a scientific researcher at the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC). She has experience in Agronomy, with an emphasis on plant breeding, working mainly on the following topics: citrus breeding and genetic mapping for disease resistance. The researcher is the coordinator of the research groups on Breeding and Genetic Mapping of citrus at the Sylvio Moreira Citriculture Center, at the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC). She is a professor and adviser at the graduate program in Vegetal Production and Associated Bioprocesses at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She has spoken at 8 international events and organized the Citrus Genome Workshop at the Plant and Animal Genome XXII Conference, January 11-15, 2014-San Diego, CA, USA. The researcher coordinated four regular research aid projects and one thematic project (Proc.: 2011 / 18605-0), funded by FAPESP and four research projects funded by MCTI / CNPq. She is a member of the Committee for the Protection and Registration of Cultivars at the Agronomic Institute (IAC) and Technical Responsible (RT) of the Citriculture Center at Renasem / Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock (MAPA). She participates in the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) in Genomics for Citrus Improvement. Coordination: Marcos Antonio Machado. Validity: 2017 - 2024. FAPESP and CNPq. And she is the coordinator of the Project: Biotechnological and genomic strategies for quality, productivity and sustainable management of citrus, coffee and sugarcane in the State of São Paulo, CCD-CROP-IAC, FAPESP 2020/07045-3.
