Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and General Theory of Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (Brazil - USP). He has made his Doctoral studies in France (Université de Lyon, II et III; Université de Paris, Sorbonne-II et IV). He is a Doctor (1999) and Post-Doctor (2003) by the Department of Philosophy and General Theory of Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo. He was Scientific Director of the Brazilian Association of Law Teaching - ABEDI (2006-2008). He was President of the National Association for Human Rights (ANDHEP, 2009-2010), and was Executive Secretary (2007-2009). He was Senior Researcher at the Nucleus of Violence Studies of the University of São Paulo (NEV-USP, 2006-2010). He was a Full Member of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Peace, Human Rights, Democracy and Tolerance, IEA - USP (2007-2010). He was Member of the National Committee for Human Rights Education - Secretariat for Human Rights - Brasília (2008-2010). He was Member of the Law Area Committee - CAPES (2010). He was 2nd. Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Philosophy of Law (ABRAFI - IVR / Brazil, 2016-2009).He was an N-2 Researcher at CNPq (2010-2013, 2014-2017). He is an N-2 researcher at CNPq (2017-2019).He organized 87 scientific events (seminars, congresses, lectures), delivered 183 lectures at various events in 19 Brazilian states (São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Amazonas, Pernambuco, Bahia, Piauí, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Sergipe, Tocantins). He formed 24 Masters and11 Doctors, wrote 80 scientific articles (national scientific journals), 35 articles (newsletters, newspapers and national sites) and 29 international scientific articles (Electronic Magazines, Annals, Sites and Magazines in the world). He has published 12 books of Authorship, 1 book in Co-Authorship, 2 Coordinated Collective books and 3 Coorganized collective books, published in Brazil. He has held meetings and conferences abroad (Lebanon; Portugal; Germany; Italy; Czech Republic; Argentina; Chile; Uruguay; Africa; United States; Canada; Spain; Belgium; Switzerland). Was Visiting Professor at the Università di Bologna (CIRFSID, Italy, 2017). He is Coordinator of the USP Agreement (Brazil, São Paulo) - CIRSFID, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna (Bologna, Italy).He is Member of the Research Group Human Rights, Democracy, Politics and Memory of the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo - IEA/ USP. In 2016, he published the book "Democracy, Justice and Human Rights: Studies of Critical Theory and Social Philosophy of Law" (Saarbrücken, Germany, 2016).
