Sexuality, and Feminist Theories. She currently serves as an advisor at the Coordination for Affirmative Actions, Diversity, and Equity (CAADI - Unesp). She is a professor of Anthropology at the Unesp-Bauru campus (Department of Human Sciences - FAAC) and is part of the faculty of the Graduate Program in Communication at the same institution. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and completed her postdoctoral research at Université Paris 8 - Vincennes - Saint Denis. Her research explores topics such as gender, sexuality, health, and digital media, engaging with queer theory, feminist epistemologies, and subaltern knowledges. She is the author of Abjection and Desire A Travesti Ethnography on the AIDS Preventive Model and Love in the Age of Apps Heterosexual Masculinities and the New Economy of Desire (Annablume). Pelúcio is a research advisor for the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and leads the research group Transgressions Gender, Sexualities, Bodies, and Contemporary Media (CNPq Directory).(http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/6868723491924249).
