Artur Gasparetto Paiola

I have a degree in Computer Engineering at Santa Cecilia University (2002) and a MSc in Electrical Engineering at University of São Paulo (2006). I carried out academic research from my undergraduate to master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Microelectronics, working mainly on the following topics: SOI-CMOS components, measurement methods, parameter extraction and characterization of electronic devices. I worked as a Hardware Engineer and participated in the implementation in LSI-TEC of the first LEA (Laboratory of Testing and Auditing) along with the ITI (National Institute of Information Technology), whose objective is to evaluate equipment and systems of use in the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure (Brazilian PKI), in addition to developing and establishing technical standards and procedures for testing products within the scope of ICP-Brazil. I assisted in the implementation of a quality system based on ISO/IEC 17065 to establish an OCP (Product Certification Organism) in LSI-TEC, however, this project was not successful due to some few non-conformities according to INMETRO (National Metrology Institute) and also because the company did not keep interest on implementing this kind of service. Since 2014 I have been working as LSI-TEC LEA Manager, where I manage, coordinate and supervise the team that performs the technical tests in products under Brazilian PKI. Nowadays I coordinate and assist in the establishment of a ISO/IEC 17025 quality system in the LEA, which was accredited at INMETRO to qualify for some specific products certification scopes. I also work in LSI-TEC assisting other internal management areas in projects related to technological innovation in IT, information security, PKI, IoT, among other technologies. I assisted in some ANVISA standard and certification tasks for the INSPIRE project, the low-cost mechanical ventilator, which was projected, developed and assembled by POLI-USP.
