Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Campinas (1998), licenciates degree in chemistry from the University of Campinas (2000), masters degree in chemistry from the University of Campinas (2000) and doctorate in chemistry from the University of Campinas (2004) . Between February 2005 and November 2010 he worked as a researcher at the "Institut Català d'Investigació Chemistry" (ICIQ) in Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). From 2011 until July 2012 he served as collaborator professor and researcher at the University of Campinas. He is currently Professor Dr MS-3 in the Department of Fundamental Chemistry, University of Sao Paulo. He has experience in chemistry, with emphasis on theoretical chemistry, working mainly in the following areas: catalysis, organometallic chemistry and physical chemistry. Since 2022 acting as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal ACS Catalysis. According to the survey carried out by Stanford University (USA), published as the "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators" by Elsevier, he was named among the most influential scientists in the world in 2021 and 2022.
