Rachel Bardy Prado

Biologist from the Federal University of São Carlos, she has a master's degree and a doctorate in environmental engineering sciences from the USP of São Carlos, a specialization in water resources planning from the Federal University of Amazonas, in ecosystem services from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain and an MBA in Project Management by Esalq-USP. She was a member of the State Council of Water Resources of Rio de Janeiro and President of the Portfolio of Environmental Services at Embrapa, as well as a visiting professor at the Universidade Federal Fluminense-UFF. She has been a researcher for 19 years at Embrapa Solos, Rio de Janeiro, working on the themes of planning and monitoring of watersheds, sustainability in agriculture, ecosystem services and support for related public policies.
