Graduted from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1997) with a B.S. in Physics, MSc in Physic from Universidade de São Paulo (2000) and doctorate in Physic from Universidade de São Paulo (2005). Has experience in Small-Angle X-ray diffraction applied to molecular biophysics. From 2003 onwards started working at companies (Embraco/Whirlpool, Jacto) where he helped this companies evaluate non conventional technologies (involving physical principles) and helping them with their technology forecasting programs and strategic technology roadmapping activities. In 2016 he moved to CIAg (Innovation center in Agribusiness) where he is working on technologies to solve farmers needs (eg sensing/monitoring diseases and nutrients in soil/plants). In 2022 he started with his colleages from FATEC Shunji Nishimura a Plant Monitoring and Protection Lab, where he is working on pest and disease monitoring and biopesticide application technologies on plants.
